Easy Recipe for Delicious Mocha Oat Biscuits

This is a recipe created specifically for those coffee addicts that want to include #coffee in everything! So here is our home made recipe for Mocha Oat Biscuits, a very easy recipe to follow which at the end gives you these amazing oat biscuits to enjoy with your cup of coffee!

You don't need to be a baker to get this recipe right all you need to do is follow our instructions bit by bit and just bake away your perfect biscuits. A very simple recipe!

Try them out and enjoy the aroma filled kitchen when they are baking! 

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup quick oats
  • 2 shots of espresso coffee Sublime Rosso or Napoli


 

Instructions

  • In a bowl whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • In a different bowl, beat the butter with sugar, when well combined add the vanilla, egg, and espresso coffee.
  • Add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture slowly ensuring that it is mixed well creating a butter.
  • Next add the oats and mix thoroughly using a spoon or a spatula.
  • Add chocolate the chocolate chips. (optional)
  • Refrigerate the dough for approx 30 minutes.
  • Utilise an ice cream scoop to measure the dough portions and get equal consistency. Then place on a baking sheet.
  • With your wet fingers press the dough down making a cookie shape, trying to keep the same thickness and size.
  • Bake in a preheated oven of 350F/180C, for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on how dry you like your cookies.
  • Leave on a cooling rack until ready to eat.

 

 

This simple yet tasty cookie recipe is surely to be a winner during your coffee breaks or tea parties! After all who doesn't like coffee or the at least the scent of it!
